Scalpel for LinuxOverview

Scalpel is a destructive Audio Editor. It is in an early stage of development and currently works only on Linux. At the moment, you can:

load files supported by Libsndfile (no mp3)
write 16 bits .wav (no mp3)
select a sound portion
cut, copy, paste
mix
Reverse, normalize,fade in, fade out.

Fixed some bugs.
